It is possible that during childhood there occur types of behaviour or moods that create concern in the surroundings of the child (school, friends or family). Some of these difficulties can be associated with similar disorders that can occur in adults, such as anxiety, fears, depression, or obsessive compulsive disorder. Although in a presentation that is typical for the childhood, but which it makes difficult to recognize the problem. Other times it may be related to more common disorders in children, such as Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity disorder.

During the adolescence, regaring to the increased autonomy and the search for identity, psychopathological problems can occur as mentioned above, or problems more typical of the adolescence, such as toxic consumption, oppositional behaviour, or eating disorders.
